Sajid Khan: 'Tamannaah's like a sister'

 Rumours of Sajid Khan having developed a soft spot for Tamannaah have been doing the rounds for a while. The director has previously worked with her in his 2013 debacle, Himmatwala, and she also stars in his upcoming film.
As a result, reports claimed that he was favouring her over the film's other actresses - Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta.  
But when asked, Sajid insists there is no truth to these rumours. "She's like a younger sister to me. These rumours are very funny and baseless," says Sajid.
He further reveals that Tamannaah is his rakhi sister. And she echoes the same sentiment too. "Yes, it's true. I had tied a rakhi to Sajid during the shoot of Himmatwala, and I do consider him my elder brother. And he treats me like a younger sister and is protective about me," says Tamannaah.
So when rumours of them being in an alleged relationship came about, the two apparently had a good laugh over the whole thing.  
Incidentally, this isn't the first time Sajid has been linked to the actress he has cast in his film. In the past, he is rumoured to have dated Jacqueline Fernandez (who starred in Housefull 2; 2012), after which he was apparently spotted around town with Esha (who also features in his upcoming film).
