Suntali celebrates her birthday at Mushahar community

Kunjana Ghimire popularly known by her serial name Suntali is a Nepali comedian, actor and a social worker. She is one of the main characters of the Nepali TV series Meri Bassai.

She is considered one of the Nepal's talented and good comedian ever because she had played various roles in her own sitcom Meri Bassai. She is highly active in social work. She is married to Sitaram Kattel, widely known as "Dhurmus" from the same teleserail. The couple is collectively known as Dhurmus Suntali. They have established a foundation named Dhurmus Suntali Foundation and are active in social works through the foundation.

The Foundation had constructed houses for the earthquake victims in Sindhupalchowk district. The project was named Sindhupalchock Giranchour Integrated Model Colony Construction Project. The foundation got huge aid, both inside and outside Nepal, for their works and a collective settlement was constructed for the earthquake victims in the district.

After that they got involved in construction of house for the people from Mushahar community. After the successful construction of the settlement overcoming the financial obstacle, they have now involved in another project of 'Model Nepal'. Meanwhile, Suntali celebrated her birthday with the children from Mushahar community by distributing lunch boxes to them.
